Fandom y competencia mediática: análisis de la lectura estética en el fanfic “Young Hearts“

Resumen

Al crear fanfics, los fans desarrollan estrategias de escritura y comunicación relacionadas con contenidos multimodal y multimedia, además de nuevas formas textuales de conversación en red (Jenkins 2012, Scolari 2018). La lectura textual e intertextual del público ávido establece un diálogo claro con el concepto de lector semiótico/estético de Eco (2002), en el que las tramas exploran varias capas interpretativas y van más allá del paratexto. A partir de este planteamiento teórico, este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar las dimensiones de la competencia mediática, propuestas por Ferrés y Piscitelli (2015), que están en operación en el fanfic Oitavo B., publicado en la plataforma Spirit Fanfics e Histórias. La historia replantea el arco narrativo de los personajes Lica y Samantha, de Young Hearts (Malhação). Utilizando su comprensión crítica, los fans expanden creativamente y dan un nuevo significado a la trama a través de elementos multimodales e intertextuales. Sus reflexiones trascienden los límites canónicos del universo ficcional y establecen distintas correlaciones en diálogo con otras producciones audiovisuales, obras literarias, cuestiones sociales, hechos reales, entre otros. Se concluye que el fanfic en cuestión no solo refuerza y ​​expande la telenovela juvenil, sino que también establece nuevas capas interpretativas.
